The juvenile crime rate in Sweetwater has been reduced thanks to a city ordinance imposing a curfew on children under 17.
Big Country Homepage reports, "The city has recently reinstated an ordinance that puts a curfew on minors under the age of 17. The ordinance says they must be home by 11:00 p.m." And, "Since the ordinance went into effect, city officials say they haven't had as many problems with juvenile crime."
