As of this writing, eighteen are reported dead across Texas and Oklahoma and another 40 are still missing as a result of historic flooding across the states.

Whataburger has donated $100,000 to the American Red Cross to assist with flood relief efforts and is offering free meals to uniformed first responders. President Barak Obama has also pledged the support of the federal government to assist the relief efforts. Governor Greg Abbott released a list of the available resources involved in the disaster relief across Texas and advised citizens to heed warnings and stay out of harm's way.
