There is a lot of misinformation out there about prison and parole. Honestly, you can’t trust most of it. Very few lawyers understand the prison system or parole. Most don’t know anything about it. What I do know is this: if you don’t have an experienced criminal defense lawyer on your side, you’re in deep trouble.
— Peter M. Lopez, Attorney & Counselor at Law

If you are convicted of a felony in the State of Texas, you could be sentenced to serve time in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice-Institutional or State Jail Divisions. If you receive probation as part of a plea bargain or sentence, you could still be sentenced to serve time in prison for violating the rules of probation.

If you have been charged with an offense, let our firm help. Peter M. Lopez has over 15 years of experience defending citizens accused of crimes.
